As part of the cooperative agreements with USDA APHIS PPQ, the Center develops documents to prepare for the impending arrival of high-consequence plant pests. Examples include New Pest Response Guidelines, CAPS datasheets and NAPPRA pest datasheets.

 

New Pest Response Guidelines (NPRG) are comprehensive scientific and technical documents that are developed proactively in case a high risk exotic pest is introduced into the U.S. NPRGs provide information to be used within the first 60 days after an initial detection to eradicate or contain an invasive pest
