Purpose of the Society

The North Carolina Entomological Society was established in 1956 to promote entomological accomplishment and to cultivate a closer relationship among its members by encouraging:

  • The preparation, presentation, and publication of papers;

  • The association and free discussions among professional and amateur entomologists;

  • The dissemination of entomological information to the general public.

Membership is open to all individuals interested in Entomology, whether professional or amateur. Active members are those who have paid their annual dues.
